Five acres of luxuriant grounds full of beautiful Mediterranean plants and flowers, the gardens are an important part of Sorrento, containing a number of very old specimens and magnificent blooms. Guests can enjoy a stroll and admire the plants, or simply relax in the shade of the trees and take in the unparalleled beauty of the Bay of Naples. And with no shortage of different paths to follow, this is also the ideal place to take a jog or do a few keep-fit exercises in the open air.

A number of original Roman columns were found at the time when the Hotel was being built, and these can still be seen in the gardens of the EXCELSIOR VITTORIA. Other items of interest uncovered are exhibited in Sorrento’s Museo Correale.The gardens of the EXCELSIOR VITTORIA gratify not only the senses of sight and smell, but of taste as well. The citrus groves still provide most of the oranges and lemons consumed daily in the Hotel, and the old olive trees are currently the source of the fine extra virgin olive oil used in the two Hotel restaurants. .
